In a short while, Weil returned with two large bowls of Pigg stew.

Looking at the tender, slow-cooked meat, Luo Lan, already starving, wasted no time and began to devour it.

Within minutes, Luo Lan finished an entire bowl of Pigg stew, meat and soup included.

Immediately, he felt revitalized, as if he had come back to life, his spirits soaring once more.

“Truly delicious!” Luo Lan couldn’t help but exclaim.

Although this world was quite primitive, he wondered if it was because the ecosystem hadn’t been damaged by modern industry.

The air here was fresh, the vegetation lush, and even the wild beasts were exceptionally robust and delicious.

That bowl of Pigg stew, despite only having some coarsely made salt, was incredibly tasty.

If he could use the Infinite Synthesis System to synthesize the seasonings from the modern world,

and then pair them with the food of this world, how much better would it taste?

He didn’t even dare to imagine!

“Master, here’s another serving; please have another bowl!”

Seeing Luo Lan eat with such relish, Weil, who was kneeling beside him, brought over another bowl.

At this, Luo Lan shook his head, saying, “I’m already full. This bowl is for you.

You worked so hard on me just now; you must be hungry too. Hurry and eat this bowl of stew!”

Hearing Luo Lan say this, Weil’s face couldn’t help but flush red.

She involuntarily recalled the scene from earlier, and immediately, she felt so embarrassed she wanted to crawl into a hole.

Although she had often heard the married women in the tribe talk about how incredibly comfortable and pleasurable it was to “do that” with a man,

that was only hearsay. So, she had no concept of the extent of this comfort and pleasure.

Only just now did she fully understand why those older women used to have such intoxicated expressions when they talked about it.

Because that kind of pleasure was unprecedented, irresistible, and could drive a person mad.

And she had just been driven mad, so mad that her body was almost out of her control.

That state was still fresh in her memory even now, but it also made her feel very shy.

Because before this, she had never been so unrestrained.

So, hearing Luo Lan bring it up again, she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.

“Thank you, Master!”

Weil, her face red, picked up the stew and began to sip it cautiously, almost afraid to meet Luo Lan’s gaze.

Just then, Atu, accompanied by a few companions he grew up with, knelt on one knee outside Luo Lan’s door, holding several weapons.

“My Master, I’ve brought all the existing weapons of the tribe. Please take a look.”

Hearing Atu’s words, Luo Lan nodded with satisfaction and stepped forward to Atu’s side.

“My Master, our tribe commonly uses three types of weapons: long knives, axes, and bows and arrows. They’re all here.”

Atu was utterly bewildered by Luo Lan’s sudden request to see the weapons. Since Luo Lan had grown up with him, he should have already known what weapons their tribe used. Why would he need to have them brought over, and all of them at that? It was truly too strange.

However, Luo Lan was now their tribal chief and their object of faith, so despite his curiosity, he obediently complied.

“Have all the tribe’s weapons been brought over?”

“Yes, all of them have been gathered, My Master. What are you going to do?”

“Our tribe suffered heavy losses in the recent invasion by the orcs. Do you know what the most important reason was?”

“The most important reason?” Seeing Luo Lan suddenly question him, Atu paused, then after a moment of hesitation, began to speak, somewhat uncertainly.

“My Master, it’s because the orcs have a racial advantage.

They are naturally taller and more robust than us humans, and their strength is greater than ours.

In direct confrontation, we humans are at a natural disadvantage, which is why we were beaten back repeatedly.”

“Hmm, what you said is correct, but it’s not the most important thing.”

“Not the most important? My Master, Atu is foolish; I really can’t think of any other reason.”

Seeing that he hadn’t answered correctly, Atu immediately shook his head, looking at Luo Lan with curiosity.

Not just Atu, but the other young tribesmen kneeling beside him,

and even Weil, who was eating stew in the room, all curiously shifted their gaze to Luo Lan.

Seeing that he had piqued their interest, Luo Lan finally began to speak softly, “I ask you, do orcs die?”

“Of course they do. All living beings in this world will die; it’s just that each being’s lifespan varies.”

“Very good. Since orcs also die, then they are certainly not invincible. Their size does give them a natural advantage.

But this is not unbeatable. On the contrary, from a certain perspective, it’s even a weakness because a large size means they are a large target.

If we can possess more durable and sharper long knives and axes, as well as more advanced bows and arrows,

then even the orcs won’t be able to do anything to us. That’s why I asked you to gather all the tribe’s weapons.

The purpose is simple: I need to upgrade these weapons. Our tribe needs more advanced and powerful weapons.”

“Upgrade processing? My Master, what does that mean? We don’t understand.”

Hearing Luo Lan’s words, Atu and the others looked bewildered, completely unable to understand what he meant.

Luo Lan didn’t mind. These were uncivilized natives; talking about “upgrades” with them was like casting pearls before swine.

What he needed to do now was simply upgrade the weapons before him using his Infinite Synthesis System.

Then, he would just hand the upgraded weapons over for them to use.

“It’s fine, you don’t need to understand. Leave the rest to me. You can wait outside the door!”

Luo Lan said this and then closed the door. Immediately, only Weil and he remained in the room.

At this point, he reached down and picked up a large knife made of crude iron from the ground.

Instantly, a piece of information appeared before his eyes.

【Damaged Crude Iron Long Knife, the lowest grade of iron weapon.】

Looking at the information that appeared, Luo Lan felt no surprise. Due to being bound to the Infinite Synthesis System,

the system had automatically granted him a “compendium” function. Anything he looked at, if he wished, the compendium would display its detailed information.

“Indeed, another crudely made piece of junk. Weapons like this struggle to even chop firewood, let alone be used for combat and killing enemies.

It looks like I need to synthesize them quickly.” Luo Lan thought this while activating the system’s synthesis function.

Suddenly, another piece of information appeared before him.

【Discovered 5 Damaged Crude Iron Long Knives, can be synthesized into 1 Brand New Fine Iron Long Knife. Requires 5 Faith Points. Synthesize?】

“Synthesize!” Looking at the system prompt that appeared again, Luo Lan didn’t hesitate and chose to synthesize directly.

In an instant, a colorful light, visible only to him, flashed by.

Immediately, a Fine Iron Long Knife gleaming with a cold light appeared before him.
